ABOUT ME

I am an organist, composer of children's songs, website designer, and company director, all depending on what's needed at the time! I live in France, with my husband and our three beagles.​

In my career, I have been involved in many different genres of music, notably musical theatre, choral directing and primary school music, but it's fair to say that playing the organ is my first love. This love began as a small boy in my local parish church and developed seriously at 18 when I was awarded a place at Trinity College of Music, London (TCM). I studied there for four years and during that time played in a large range of concerts with the college choirs and orchestras at venues across London. Perhaps the most significant musical influence on my career was the organist Jane Parker-Smith who I studied and became good friends with. I like to think my playing reflects her style but I could never hope to match her phenomenal technique. Just turning pages for her in concerts would sometimes leave you needing a large glass of red afterwards!

My core repertoire is French romantic organ music and you can expect to find a lot of that in the shop. My recordings are made using Hauptwerk and are recorded mainly on the Cavaillé-Coll organ of St. Etienne, Caen and the Metzler organ of the Annakirche in Düren.
